What is Minky fabric?

Minky fabric is a special type of plush fabric that is 100% polyester and is often used to make baby blankets, baby clothing and baby accessories. Our line of Ultra Plush blankets are 100% polyester faux fur fabric. The high quality of our minky fabric prevents its colors from fading and its warmth from decreasing over time. Are Minky Couture Designer Blankets handmade?

Your Minky Couture blanket is made with love and care, just as if your Grandma had made it herself! Over 70% of our blankets are handmade by seamstresses in Northern Utah, USA. Your blanket is created using high-quality sewing machines, pins, and notions.

I love your blankets but I'd like to customize mine. Can you customize my order?

Yes! We'd love to! Use our custom blanket tool to choose what patterned minky you'd like, as well as choose the plush back and satin ruffle. Not all fabrics are available for custom orders, but you will find a large selection using our custom blanket tool. Please allow additional time for us to create your custom blanket.

What size should I order?

See the graphic to decide which size is right for you. We always recommend going bigger – more plush blanket to wrap up in, but of course, it’s up to you! Blanket sizing is approximate and the measurements shown are the pre-sewn/cut measurements.

How do I wash and take care of my Minky Couture blanket?

Our blankets are made to be durable enough for the washing machine. Simply, machine wash in COLD water with regular detergent. Detergent pods are not recommended. Avoid fabric softener. Line dry, or use Air Fluff setting in dryer. For best results, wash alone. See our darling instructional video HERE.

What is the process after I place my order?

Because your blanket is made with love and care, please allow 10-14 business days for us to fulfill your order. As soon as you complete your purchase, your order is submitted to our Production Facility in Northern Utah. Within 24 hours, it is on our cut list and being prepped for our seamstresses. If you chose to customize your blanket, please allow extra time for your blanket to be made. Custom blankets could take up to 21 business days to ship. Welcome to the Minky Couture family!

Can I order online and pick up at a local store?

Yes! Store Pick Up is available at our five Utah locations, FREE OF CHARGE. During online check out, you will be able to select which store you would like to have your order shipped. Once your order arrives at the store, we will notify you by text or email that your order is ready for pick up. Please make sure we have your correct contact information before you check out. Allow 7 - 10 business days for your order to be shipped to your local store.

Can I order over the phone?

Yes! Call our Customer Service Department at 1-844-222-1967 and we would be happy to help you over the phone! Monday through Friday 10am to 6pm MST

Can I cancel my order?

As soon as you complete your order, it is sent straight to our Production Facility. Within 24 hours it is nearly impossible to make any changes. Therefore, we suggest you check your order carefully for accuracy at time of purchase. If you do need to change or cancel your order, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-844-222-1967 or email us at info@minkycouture.com

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free standard US shipping for online orders of $250.00 or more. Order amount must be $250 before tax and shipping charges. Offer is for valid for one package delivered to contiguous US addresses only. Not valid in Alaska and Hawaii. UPS ground or USPS service provided. We also ship any sized order to a local store, free of charge. Choose "Store Pickup" option during checkout.

Can I order online and pick up at a local store?

Yes! Store Pick Up is available at our five Utah locations, FREE OF CHARGE. During online check out, you will be able to select which store you would like to have your order shipped. Once your order arrives at the store, we will notify you by phone or email that it is ready for pick up. Please make sure we have your correct contact information before you check out. Allow 7 - 10 business days for your order to be shipped to your local store. Please pick up your order within 48 hours of notification.

Can I track my order?

Yes! You will receive shipping tracking information via email or text, depending on what you select during checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes! If you are unable to receive an international rate through our shopping cart, please contact our Customer Service Department. All applicable duties, tariffs, and customs fees are the responsibility of the customer. Packages rejected because of tariffs, cannot be refunded for shipping.

Package Delivery

We are not responsible for lost, held, damaged, or stolen packages. We are not resposible for delivery errors via carrier or incorrect shipping information. Please be sure to give us a secured address for delivery.

Exchanges

Exchanges can be made within 30 days of purchase. Due to regulations, items must be in new and unused condition, in original packaging with ribbon and tag attached. Custom orders are not available for exchange.

Returns

Returns can be made within 30 days of purchase. Due to regulations, items must be in new and unused condition, in original packaging with ribbon and tag attached. Refunds will be issued in the form of original payment. If returning without a receipt, Minky Couture will issue an in-store credit based on the lowest selling price for the returned merchandise. If your item was shipped, we are unable to refund the original shipping cost.
Custom orders are not eligible for return.

Repairs

Our seamstresses will be happy to repair your blanket within 30 days of purchase, with proof of purchase.
